A milestone worth celebrating

Reaching 1,000 consecutive days without a lost time incident (LTI) is a meaningful achievement for any manufacturing operation. For Pan-Oston  — a Bowling Green, KY manufacturer of self-checkouts, retail fixtures, and commercial cabinetry — it's a reflection of the culture we've built together over decades of business.

This week, we're bringing our team together on-site to celebrate. We're recognizing the people who make this possible every single day: our dedicated safety committee and our employees on the floor, in the shop, and across every department who take safety seriously.

Pan-Oston Celebrates 1000+ Days Without a Lost Time Incident

What "Safety Is No Accident" means to us

Our new safety tagline — Safety Is No Accident — means that safe workplaces don't happen by chance. They're the result of intentional choices, consistent habits, open communication, and a safety culture where every employee feels empowered to raise a concern when they see one.

As an employee-owned company, that sense of shared responsibility runs deep. When you have a stake in the business, you have a stake in the wellbeing of the people around you. Safety becomes a core value, not a checkbox.

"What makes me most proud isn't the number itself. It's the culture behind it. Over the years, I've seen employees become more engaged, more willing to speak up, and more proactive about helping each other work safely. The best safety programs are built when people take ownership, and that's exactly what I see happening at our facilities. This milestone is a reflection of our team's commitment to protecting one another and making sure everyone goes home safe at the end of each shift." - Daniel White, HR & Safety Manager

Celebrating together this Safety Month

To mark the occasion, we hosted a celebration for our team this week complete with t-shirts branded with our new safety tagline. It was a chance to pause, recognize what we've accomplished, and recommit to the habits and culture that got us here.

National Safety Month, observed each June by the National Safety Council, is a reminder that workplace safety requires ongoing attention. For Pan-Oston, it's also a time to reflect on the human side of that commitment: the employees who come to work each day, do their jobs well, and go home safe.

Looking ahead

Crossing 1,000 days is a reason to celebrate, but it's also a reminder of how much is at stake. Every day we come to work healthy, every shift that ends without an incident, is a day worth celebrating. We're proud of this milestone, and we're committed to building on it.

To every Pan-Oston team member who contributes to our safety culture: thank you. This achievement belongs to all of you.
